On February 19th, 2016, Kearney Planters located at 14232 Turin Line, Thamesville was recognized by the Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce as Feature Industry of the Month.

Kearney Planters has served its customers for 36 successful years. With 24 employees, they serve the agricultural equipment sector with expertise and care. Kearney Planters is owned by Barry and Sandra Kearney and have expanded now into three separate buildings at their place of business, including a new parts and sales facility which opened in 2015.

They have a very large parts department which carries over 50 product lines. They sell new and used planters and corn heads and are a Kinze, AGLeader and Drago dealer. They also have the expertise and experience to modify, fabricate and refurbish new and used planter and corn heads.

Kearney Planters have won the Silver Crest Award from AGLeader, 2008 and 2009 Merit Awards from Kinze, and were honoured the “innovator of the Year” at the 2014 Chatham-Kent Chamber of Commerce Rural Urban Awards dinner.

Kearney Planters have always been a strong community partner, making donations to the Highgate Easter Egg Hunt, C-K Robotics, East Kent Vintage Club, the Mary Webb Centre and so many more.

Kearney Planters are located in the heart of agriculture land and are surrounded  by rich and productive farm land. As farmers are continually faced with ever changing farming techniques and strategies, Kearney Planters feel there is always opportunity to meet the needs of their farm clients in new and innovative ways, and they will continue to educate, support and service the many needs of their agricultural customers, here in Ontario and abroad.
